What is Residential Care?

At our residential care home, you can live the life you choose. We have specialised staff working 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to offer our residents as much assistance as they require. It is important to us that each of our residents’ talents and skills are recognised, and we provide them with the encouragement they need to utilise them and be independent whilst here with us at Deeside.

The levels of care and assistance provided by residential care are entirely specific to our residents and their requirements. In many cases, the support required will be relatively minimal; for others, the degree of assistance will be much higher. It truly is dependent on the individual. No matter the level, our team is always on hand to help.

If residents’ care needs change while living at Deeside, our team will chat with them and their loved ones to adjust their care plan as necessary to ensure residents’ needs are fully being met. Deeside Care Home is proud to provide a continuum of care meaning that should care needs change, they can move to a different care unit.

The services and facilities provided by care homes and nursing homes will differ, but at Deeside Care Home, you can expect 24-hour care and support for a range of healthcare needs as well as housekeeping and laundry services, meals, activities, entertainment and amenities designed to improve overall well-being.

At Deeside Care Home, we require a 28-day notice period for residents receiving any of our long-term care types and are looking to move out. Our compassionate team are on hand around the clock to support you with your moving transition and answer any further questions you have.
