Christmas Festivities at Deeside

Resident Enjoying Glass of Wine

During the month of December, we have had so much fun partaking in a variety of Christmas activities at Deeside Care Home. From Christmas parties to fayres and carol singers and mulled wine, there have been lots going on in the activities schedule to keep everyone entertained.

We had residents, staff and families of residents help to sell items across various stalls at our Christmas Fayre which included homemade bags, candles and baked goods.

In our dining room, we had a display of mince pies and mulled wine which everyone tucked into and thoroughly enjoyed. We raised a total of £402.45p which will go towards our residents' fund where we will plan a special treat in the new year. Thank you to everyone who contributed.

Below you will see Deeside's Christmas activity programme which provides an insight into the jam-packed schedule we have organised for residents throughout the month of December:

On Friday 16th of December, we hosted our annual Christmas party for residents and staff, and live entertainment was provided by Sweet Adelines, a fantastic band that sang Christmas classics and everyone had a great time singing and dancing.

Cults Primary School visited our home and sang Christmas carols. Our residents also attended a church service on the 18th of December.

Everyone has been feeling the festive cheer and it's been wonderful to see, especially since the covid restrictions in previous years.

If you have any questions about the care services and facilities we offer at Deeside, do not hesitate to get in touch with our friendly team who will be more than happy to help you.

We wish you all a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
