Celebrating Christmas at Deeside Care Home

Resident Receiving Gift From Santa Claus

Finally, Christmas has arrived at Deeside Care Home. Our home is looking extremely festive with an array of Christmas trees and beautiful decorations to delight our residents to get into the festive spirit throughout our home.

In the resident’s communities, we have been hosting Christmas parties, enjoyed by party buffets with everyone’s favourites. Our dedicated Activity Coordinators put on live entertainment, which had our residents singing and dancing, as well as a special visit from Santa himself handing out lots of goodies and treats.

At Deeside Care Home, celebrating Christmas really is the most magical time of the year. Our team have pulled out all the stops to make sure our residents have an amazing Christmas with lots more fun activities planned for the festive season.

The devoted staff members at Deeside Care Home are more determined than ever to make this Christmas extra special for our residents. The Christmas trees are up and the festive activities are in full swing.

We understand that Christmas can be a sensitive time of the year for some of our residents. That’s why our dedicated staff members go to extreme lengths to make sure that our residents make the most out of the festive period with one another no matter what.

We actively encourage our residents to participate in our activities programme which included decorating our Christmas tree and dancing along to Christmas carols throughout the lead up to Christmas. We are passionate about making sure our residents achieve the most out of every day and that no two days are the same.

Our activities coordinators ensure that all of our facilities and activity programmes are as diverse and inclusive as possible, whether residents choose to take up new activities or carry on doing what they love.
