A Week of Jubilee Celebrations

What a fantastic day we all had at our Jubilee Party! In fact, we had an incredible, fun-filled week of Jubilee Celebrations. This week consisted of parades, parties, games and cakes galore, so you can be sure that this week won’t be forgotten in a hurry. 

The staff hosted a fantastic party that her majesty was proud to be a part of, and we were delighted that she could join us on such a special day (in cardboard cut-out form, of course!). On the 2nd of June, our teams got together to throw a Queen’s Birthday Parade and Special Luncheon, which all of our residents were able to attend. 

The following day brought lots of fun and games with it, as our residents had the opportunity to take part in Deeside’s very own Highland Games! All of our residents had the chance to compete, and they all had an absolute blast. 

However, come the 4th of June, our residents were expected to trade their sporting gear for their very best outfits to attend The Derby at Deeside. We had all of our lovely ladies and gents wearing their finest clothes for an afternoon of horse racing in the sunshine.

 Last but not least, the following afternoon we brought the Jubilee celebrations to a close with an utterly-British Deeside Afternoon Tea. A perfect weekend fit for a King or Queen! We want to give a special thanks to all of the staff who made the whole weekend such a success, and we can’t wait to continue hosting exciting events in the months to come.
