Deeside Care Home Aberdeen

Our Services

Nursing Care
We provide twenty-four hour nursing care for our residents. Our experienced and dedicated staff enable us to nurse those with physical disabilities, those who need end of life care or those with high dependency needs, and those who become infirm.

Home Manager Karen Ewen is supported by professional qualified nurses and care assistants, as well as being a nurse herself. Nursing care is delivered using a method known as key nursing.  Each resident is allocated a nurse who will soon become a familiar face and will answer any queries or anxieties you or your relatives may have.  In the absence of your nurse, another member of staff known as a key worker will care for you.

Nurse Call System
Should you require the assistance of a nurse at any time of the day or night, there is a call system fitted throughout the building including your bedroom, so you will receive attention at the press of a button.

Activities and Alternative Therapies
Our activities coordinator will plan and carry out seasonal events will all our residents, in addition to regular reminiscence therapy.

Alternative Therapies at Deesdide are something we are always developing; our Spa Area, and Hair and Beauty Salon will play a key part in this. With treatment areas and nail station we can offer a relaxing therapy suited to each resident’s needs.

The use of WIFI throughout the home will allow us to use iPads and technology as therapy for our residents, in addition to providing another great way to be in touch with family.

Physiotherapy
